About the Job:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the warehouse team for all shift operations. Must be flexible and able to oversee all shifts.

In This Role, You Will:
  • Evaluate and enforce policies and procedures.
  • Monitor product and information flow.
  • Maintain inventory integrity.
  • Oversee warehouse and team with office manager/lead to understand the role of the office employees.
  • Communicate job expectations to staff.
  • Constantly evaluate manning and space requirements.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Coach and train employees.
  • Achieve operational objectives.
  • Control expenses.
  • Resolve problems.
  • Initiate corrective actions for any errors or violations.
  • Monitor the quality of our services.
  • Monitor quality of product handling.
  • Monitor & review staff (In Dayforce system).
  • Audit all processes including receiving, shipping, and paperwork trails.
  • Secure property by maintaining established access policies and procedures.
Daily Actions:
  • Review daily inbound and outbound requirements and plan resources.
  • Track orders [with Warehouse Lead(s)] in and out of warehouse.
  • Track needs for daily orders with Office Manager and Administrative staff.
  • Communicate expectations to staff.
  • Evaluate and enforce policies and procedures.
  • Monitor product and information flow with Administrators.
  • Monitor any issues with inventory locations and correct immediately.
  • Oversee warehouse employees.
  • Resolve problems.
  • Monitor the quality of our services.
  • Monitor quality of product handling.
  • Document in Day-Timer all to do items.
Qualifications

Required:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience with Bar Code Scanning and Inventory Management.
  • Previous experience with warehouse operating system. Such as: SAP, Abecas, JDE, Order GPI, or Cadense.
  • Forklift Certified.
Desired:
  • Encouraged to learn and master Spanish.
Location: This is an on-site role based in Berkeley, IL.
