Essential Functions |

• Operate High Tech Glass Fabrication Equipment
• Inspect product for quality to meet or exceed Cardinal and customer expectations
• Transport various tools throughout the plant for use while maintaining equipment.
• Operate drill press, mill, and lathe machines.
• Occasionally weld to join metals, as needed.
• Operate high-speed floor burnisher, as needed.
• Change out barrels and drums, as needed.
• Complete preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatics, conveyor systems, and production machinery.
• Utilize diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions and complete repairs.
• Responsible for electrical repair involving motors, controls, and other equipment.
• Some fabrication of parts for repair by using machine shop instruments and equipment.
• Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, and establishing personal networks.
• Maintain continuity among department teams documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
• Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation; provide recommendations to Maintenance Superintendent.
• Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
• Maintains continuity among department teams documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

Prior Experience |

• Consistent Work History - preferably in manufacturing or warehousing experience, but not required.
• Maintenance experience working on high-tech automated equipment, industrial maintenance preferred.

Shifts:

1st Shift Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3pm

2nd Shift Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 11pm

3rd Shift Sunday - Thursday 10:30pm - 7am

Weekend Shift Friday - Sunday 6:00am - 6:30pm

Starting Pay: $24.00 hour
