Job description
Trimlite is a manufacturer of doors and glass with facilities in Ontario, British Columbia, Washington, Ohio and Florida. The warehouse worker is a crucial component to our day to day operations in maintaining the level of service that has made us and continues to make us so successful.
The successful applicant will have hand tools experience, light construction experience is a plus, must be a good communicator, detail-oriented, and works well in a team environment to help us continue to provide outstanding service to our customers.
Hours: Monday – Friday, day shifts only. Voluntary opportunities for overtime are almost always available.
Position Responsibilities (Not Limited To):
- Daily forklift operation (possibly)
- Picking orders.
- Construction of wood pallets.
- Applying wood bead to doors
- Repairing minor imperfections
- Required to stand on your feet for 8 - 9 hours a day.
- Required to lift approximately 50 lbs, consistently throughout the day.
- General cleaning.
- Other miscellaneous warehouse labor as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- Forklift experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Willingness to learn potential new skills.
- Dedicated to excellent attendance.
- Excellent organization habits.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of doors, glass, millwork and related building materials is beneficial but not mandatory.
- General use of power tools is beneficial (brad nailer, framing nailer, miter saw etc)
