Warehouse Worker Duties and Responsibilities

• Receiving and documenting merchandise for stock.
• Loading and offloading of trucks.
• Identify any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.
• Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment such as a forklift.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders properly.
• Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Basic computer skills will train in the proper use of software and RF scan guns.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets of finished product as needed.
• Operates forklift truck as needed.
• Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports.
• Performs other related duties as directed, assist with Warehouse operations.

Driver Requirements:

• Our drivers will be operating a box truck up to 24 ft (CDL License is NOT required).
• Must be able to communicate in English, written and verbal.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (must be able to produce a clean driving abstract)
• Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam
• No experience required Regular Class C Driver License
• No Moving Violations in the Past 2 years (Preferred)
• Motivated to work and good attitude.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license for forklift truck preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Positions in this classification bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform work. Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50+ lbs with the proper equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
