Warehouse Clerk Job Description:
This position receives, stores, and distributes materials and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pull parts off shelves (both by hand and with forklift).
• Prepare, wrap & label pallets for shipping.
• Load/unload trucks.
• Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, shipments, and goods used or shipped.
• Confer with Materials & QA personnel regarding inventory procurement and availability.
• Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of shipment.
• Record incoming shipment data, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
• Move production, materials, equipment, and other items from plant to warehouse and warehouse to plant.
• Separate products for orderly storage in appropriate warehouse locations.
• Maintain safe and clean environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintain clean shipping supply area.
• Other duties as requested.
• Responsible for continuous improvement (ideas and suggestions)
• Responsible to follow all OSHA and safety rules and regulations
• Responsible for following all CCP policies and procedures.

Adhere to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations. Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, reach with hands and arms; hear and communicate. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and move objects up to 60 pounds, frequently move objects up to 200 pounds and push/pull objects that weigh more than 1650 pounds with a pallet jack. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Employee must also be able to successfully complete the CCP Forklift Training and Certification course.
