Warehouse / Backup Delivery Driver

API of NH is able to serve a broad range of customer needs, from heating and A/C units for residences to commercial rooftop, HVAC systems for mini-malls, restaurants and other commercial establishments. The Warehouse / Backup Delivery Driver position will perform order delivery as well as perform general warehouse duties. This includes picking and staging inventory to fulfill orders, unloading inventory from delivery trucks, and providing prompt counter service to customers. This position would be in the warehouse most days with an occasional delivery possible.

This position is conveniently located at our Franklin branch located at 40 Kenwood Circle, Franklin, MA 02038.

What will you be doing? We’ll keep you really busy and teach you how to:

• Check orders to be sure they’re correct and good to go.
• Load & unload product.
• Drive the company trucks.
• Make deliveries to or from customers, vendors, or other branch locations.
• Make new friends (our customers) and get their orders ready.
• Keep their ride and work areas clean (easier than home!)
• Learn to use cool new “toys: ” a pallet jack, two and four-wheel cars and box cutters (did we mention safety?)
• Eat, sleep and drink safety.

About You:

• HVAC knowledge preferred, willing to train.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Honesty, integrity, and a strong desire to succeed are a must.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Able to work overtime.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Forklift experience a plus.
• Ability to drive a box truck a real plus.
