JOB SUMMARY: Club Champion is looking to hire Build Shop Apprentices for our Willowbrook, IL location. The Apprentice is responsible for bending clubs, ferrule turning and assisting in the build shop/operations as necessary. Additional requirements are cleaning of the golf clubs and transporting them to other areas of the warehouse. This position will report to the Director of Operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Bending clubs, cleaning, ferrule turning
• Assisting in the build shop and operations department as necessary
• Pre-ship/quality control: cleaning golf clubs, applying shaft stickers, running product to various areas in the building
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Mechanically inclined
• High school diploma or GED equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to details and high degree of accuracy
• Ability to multi-task while thriving in a fast-paced environment
• Punctual, flexible, and willing to work OT during the week and occasional Saturdays
• Knowledge of golf clubs and parts, familiarity with brands, types, etc. (preferred)

The salary range for this role is $16 to $16.50/hr. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s particular pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
