Hard worker? Willing to learn? Team player? Warehouse worker needed for Thos. Somerville Company, a privately owned, 160-year old company. Work schedule M-F, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, competitive pay, good benefits and generous vacation time (PTO).

Founder, Thomas Somerville, opened the National Brass Works in northwest Washington, D.C. in 1861. Today, Thos. Somerville Company is a distributor of plumbing and HVAC equipment and supplies, operating 21 branches and 6 showrooms in 5 states and the District of Columbia.

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Annapolis, MD team. As a warehouse associate, you will be responsible for pulling orders, putting away stock and keeping the warehouse clean.

Additional job responsibilities include (but not limited to):

· Work at a quick pace to complete daily tasks

· Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment

· Assist our receiving department

· Notify appropriate personnel of inventory shortages

· Put freight away in assigned areas

· Push/pull 150 lbs or lift & carry 80 lbs

· Load & unload materials efficiently and responsibly

· Communicate essential information to other Somerville Employees

Qualifications:

· Positive attitude

· High school diploma +

· Strong communication skills

· Computer literate

· Physically able to bend, lift, reach and be on feet for entire shift

· Detail-oriented

· Self-motivated

· Team player

· Strong focus

· Flexibility with hours

· Willingness to work overtime
