Responsibilities:
The
Warehouse Associate will work
Full Time, Various Shifts & Weekends and accurately receives, stocks, distributes and ships all Bassett Healthcare supplies and equipment.
- The Warehouse Associate keeps well informed regarding Bassett Healthcare, optimizes communication, and promotes the integrity and reputation of the department and institution.
Bassett Healthcare Network follows the New York State and New York State Department of Health COVID-19 vaccine mandates for healthcare workers. This mandate requires COVID-19 vaccinations for personnel working for or on behalf of our hospitals and nursing homes. The New York State mandate allows for medical exemptions and religious accommodations, when appropriate. All candidates who accept an offer from Bassett Healthcare Network will be required to show proof of vaccination as required by New York State.
Education/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience:
- One year of warehouse or healthcare inventory supply management experience preferred.
Licensure/Certificates:
- NYS Drivers License required with a clean drivers license required.
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills required.
- Knowledge of computers with MS Windows environment and Lawson inventory. management system helpful.
Physical Requirements:
- Heavy lifting and frequent ambulating required.
