Under the supervision of the Dining Room Manager, the Server is to courteously and professionally serve all residents and their guests’ meals in the dining rooms. Maintains a neat and orderly work area and informs their Supervisor of food needs and resident questions and concerns that they are unable to answer. Sets up, serves and breaks down special functions. Is a key person in public relations for the community due to the direct contact with the customer.

Essential Functions

• Performs pre-opening and closing checklist duties as assigned by the Dining Room Manager.
• Sets tables and maintains work stations in proper order.
• Takes food/beverage orders and provides service to residents and guests in all dining venues.
• Completes all assigned cleaning tasks prior to the end of the shift.
• Follows all out-lined Policies and Procedures for the Dining Services Department.
