Job description

We are looking for a Wafer Fab Chemical Technician for a cross functional semiconductor service team to maintain and support fab operation. Candidates should have experience working with hazardous chemicals, electrical equipment, and/or mechanical equipment. The primary responsibilities will include changeout of large acid and solvent sinks, maintaining fab chemical inventory, chemical waste management, manufacturing support and equipment maintenance support.

Requirements

Note: This job requires bending, stretching, pushing, pulling and lifting repeatedly. The job will also require extended periods in full clean room suit (bunny suit) as well as full PPE suits.

· Experience working with hazardous chemicals and wastes.

· Experience with laboratory equipment and/ or wet bench processing preferred

· Be able to lift up to 50lbs as needed and up to 20lbs repeatedly throughout the day.

· High school diploma or equivalent. Chemistry or engineering related AS or BS a plus

· Working knowledge of Windows and MS Office

· Good written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

· Provide chemicals to Cleanroom staff as needed during operation.

· Perform routine bath and chemical changes on chemical wet benches and photoresist coaters and DI Water resin beds

· Coordinate scheduling and perform routine DI water sanitization

· Perform routine testing on wet bench and coater exhaust CFM

· Prepare test samples and maintain logs for City water usage, wastewater and DI water, separator, and AWM

· Maintain chemical inventory and counts and advise purchasing when to order

· Help with manual tasks around the lab such as stocking and organizing lab benches and storage cabinets

· Coordinate with facilities for storage and pickup of chemical waste.

· Perform preventive maintenance and safety checks on wet lab tools and support equipment following the established procedure and/or user manuals.

· Support manufacturing with test wafer stripping and lot processing through wet benches

· Suggest improvements on the existing tools/setup/process.

· Use PC based programs to document the lab inventories and tasks performed.

· Report any lab or process issues and help find the solution.

Shift

· Training Shift M-F 4am to 12:45pm (60 to 90 days)

· Permanent shift 1: Tuesday through Saturday 4am to 1pm

· Permanent shift 2: Monday through Friday 12:30pm to 9:15 pm

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
