The Trempealeau County Health Care Center has an opening for a Vocational Assistant. Full-time benefited. Work on and off-site with residents to enhance their lives. Collaborate with the community and employers for learning opportunities for residents.
$21.55 - $23.19
$1500 Sign-on Bonus
Requirements
- Conduct vocational assessments.
- Provide support for residents and guidance.
- Understand state and facility regulations & policies.
- Assist with coordination of voc. involvement between community agencies/employers.
- Documentation/charting as required.
- Be alert to changing resident conditions and report them promptly.
- Conduct staff/resident training as required.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in vocational or related field.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work in a team or independently.
- Creativity for resident success
- Awareness of changing resident behaviors and reporting promptly.
