Link Solutions is seeking a Video Teleconference Communication (VTC) Specialist at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds located in Aberdeen, MD.

The Video Teleconference Communication (VTC) Specialist will support the US Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM). You will be part of our team which is responsible for the information technology infrastructure, and equipment that is key to enabling CECOM personnel, civilians, and contractors worldwide to execute their command’s mission. The infrastructure, technology, and equipment are key to enabling CECOM personnel to execute their command’s mission.

Job Responsibilities:

• Management and operation of the Video Operation Control (VOC) facilities.
• Scheduling of classified and unclassified Internet Protocol (IP) video teleconferences for CONUS and OCONUS meetings.
• Provide training on all hardware and software located in the VOC.
• Provide instructions to personnel in the use and operation of portable VTC systems.
• Conduct pre-conference testing and setup.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve a wide variety of issues concerning all aspects of VTC, AV equipment, and related voice/data communications.
• Provide enhanced VTC/AV operations support for CECOM and non-CECOM customers.
• Provide enhanced VTC operations services to the CECOM Command Group by handling, GITOC scheduling, confirmation, and participating in site coordination for CECOM Command-sponsored events.
• Assist with processing accreditation documentation for VTC systems.
• Provide technical subject matter expertise on matters such as architecture, compatibility, integration, emerging technology, etc. to support current operations and future requirements planning.
• Provide an initial response to customers on support requests, reports of system/network problems, or reports of technical failures.

• US Citizen
• Active DOD Secret Clearance (we will sponsor the right candidate).
• IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE) equivalent or higher.
• Associate's Degree or 3+ years of relevant experience

Preferred:

• Windows 10 Certification.
• Cisco Collaboration Certification.
• Experience with Citrix, Dameware, Active Directory, Windows 7 & 10, Microsoft Office, iPhone, and remote desktop knowledge.
• Excellent communications skill (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
