The Video Specialist is responsible for conceptualizing and executing creative output, including content creation through videography, production, editing and digital distribution. You will work closely with the Media Manager to develop and execute high-level video strategies from conceptualization to completion. The Video Specialist possesses knowledge of the latest video and technological trends, the ability to use metrics to shape strategy, and drive craft best in class visual experiences across our marketing platforms.

What will I do every day?

• Film, edit and produce video content for internal and external
• Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's
• Create proposed storyboard drafts of the video to present to internal
• Work independently to produce digital and social media content (video) that promotes Kisco’s core value proposition, increases consumer engagement, and drive awareness to our products and
• Responsible for developing strategic video plans specific to each
• Identify and create relevant content that is a resource for our
• Collaborate with the Media Manager on the video needs of
• Offers strategic content creation insight to communities, while actively seeking out opportunities to maximize the use of video content across digital
• Be flexible to take on special projects and adapt to the business needs of each community and/or the larger
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned

What will I need to be successful in this role?

• 
  Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in, Videography, Marketing, Communications, or related field
• Experience owning video projects
• Successful track record of producing and shooting content for performance marketing ads on digital media channels
• Highly creative, organized, and able to work independently
• Strong writing, creative, strategic, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Aftereffects and/or Final Cut Pro
• Great communication skills and a collaborative team player
• Passionate about both traditional and short video formats
• Understanding of today's media landscape and how people engage with advertising
• Results-driven with ability to determine and articulate content effectiveness
• Ability to think strategically and execute with attention to detail
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with all levels of end users, as well as the ability to make presentations to groups
• Creative problem-solver with an eye for maximizing resources
• Demonstrable experience working in a collaborative environment
• Team player with demonstrated ability to work within cross-functional teams

Working Conditions:

This position is on site at our Carlsbad office. Travel will be required for this position.
