Job description
First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Vice President & Senior Audit Manager to join the team in the Audit Division. In this role, under the general direction of the Chief Audit Executive, you will plan, lead and conduct technical and/or complex internal audits of the Bank's finance, operations, wealth management and/or compliance areas. The Vice President & Senior Audit Manager provides audit support to other auditors within the internal audit department for subject matter expertise and supervises and trains the audit staff. This role also participates in the risk assessment process and contributes to development of the annual audit plan.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm; hours may vary
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related business field; or equivalent work experience
- At least one technical or audit certification such as CIA, CPA, CRCM, CAMS, CFE or CFIRS is required
- Ten years of audit experience or equivalent is required
- Experience managing moderate and high-risk projects involving team members with varying levels of expertise
- Must have strong understanding of risk and controls and of the audit process to effectively perform and document audit tests, analyze results and communicate audit findings
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn other business and audit software
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analytical, problem solving, decision making and follow-through skills
- Strong time management skills; able to handle multiple projects and competing deadlines
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with and effectively communicate with all levels of personnel (staff to executive management)
- Strong business acumen
