RESPONSIBILITIES
The environment at Houlihan Lokey is aggressive and entrepreneurial and, as such, rewards top performers with substantial responsibility. Vice presidents in FR work on a variety of transactions within the group, including debtor- and creditor-side restructurings and distressed mergers and acquisitions. The group offers a unique opportunity to work on projects that provide exposure to a wide variety of financial advisory and investment banking products and industries. These services include:
- Advising clients in out-of-court and Chapter 11 restructurings
- Debt and equity financings
- Distressed M&A advisory services
- Special-situation principal investing
- Participating in complex negotiations on behalf of our clients
Vice presidents are typically members of deal teams comprising of at least one managing director, vice president, associate, and financial analyst.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
The environment at Houlihan Lokey is aggressive and entrepreneurial and, as such, rewards top performers with substantial responsibility. The ideal candidate should be motivated, creative and outgoing, and should possess strong skills in financial analysis. Candidates must have a strong knowledge of accounting and applied financial theory, keen analytical capabilities, and excellent verbal and written communications skills.
At least five years of investment banking or equivalent finance experience is required. Prior restructuring, distressed investing, or similar experience is preferred but not required. An MBA is not required.

Salary Range
Houlihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation. The firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is:
$250,000.00
