I'm hoping to have a team of like minded people, passionate and motivated to work in the field of veterinary medicine! We are a small practice working with a clientele that frequently have come for generations (of both pets and family). They have come to expect compassionate care from people they know from visit to visit. With 3 FT technicians, everybody has a chance to shine. Our technicians and front staff are the heart of our practice. We work as a team, but rely on each individual to provide excellent care with a positive attitude.

As a technician, we expect you to be reliable, maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Necessary skills include phlebotomy and IV cath placement. Experience with induction and monitoring of anesthetized patients. Strong with restraint, good communication skills with both clients and other team members. Our practice uses Impromed practice management software. We operate an Idexx in house lab system (CBC/Chem/T4/U/A). Digital Xray system, all you need to bring is basic knowledge of positioning and safe practices. Surgical monitoring by you supplemented by pulse ox, EKG, BP, temp

About us: You will NOT find a better equipped / designed small practice (1.5 doctor) anywhere in this area! Our practice has separate dog and cat/exotic waiting areas. Four exam rooms, 1 with a hydraulic lift table. Separate wards for: dogs, cats, small mammals AND an ICU with heated cages and glass lined wall for efficient patient monitoring. An upstairs employee break area away from the action for eating, meetings, and an employee only bathroom.

Our scheduling requires NO overnights, NO on call or after hours emergencies. Evening appts (until 7 pm) Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and last call is 5 pm Tuesday and Friday. Saturday we're done at 1 p.m., and NO Sunday appts. We do need one person for 15 - 45 minutes Sunday a.m.s, and OCCASSIONALLY Saturday and Sunday p.m. (again, 15 - 45 minutes, shared by all, NOT the lowest seniority). We are closed for appointments for the major holidays (5).

The bonus offered would be $2000 (more possible based on experience) - for FT) paid over the first year.
