Avets, a 24-hour emergency & specialty veterinary hospital located minutes from the PA Turnpike in Monroeville, is looking for a full-time Custodian.
We're looking for a reliable and experienced individual that can help us keep our veterinary clinic clean and organized. The successful candidate will idealy have knowledge of sanitation methods regularly used in a medical setting. They will also be hard working, have the ability to follow through on assigned projects, and be able to work collaborativly with other staff members.
In this position, you mus tbe able to stand, bend and/or kneel for the duration of a shift (8 hours) and lift up to 25lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Clean the floors of the clinic with a mop and a bucket.
- Empty trash cans.
- Wipe up small spills or animal accidents.
- Keep the clinic looking clean and presentable.
- Wash bathrooms on a daily basis.
- Deep cleaning of offices, conference rooms, employee break areas, and patient exam rooms.
- Special projects as assigned by the Facilities Manager.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
