Veterinary Assistant / Technician

What Skills Are Vital?

• Proper pet handling
• Dental anesthesia, cleaning, probing/charting, and digital dental radiography
• Venipuncture, catheter placement and maintenance
• Handling and preparation of lab samples
• Radiography
• Surgical prep, assistance and monitoring
• Client education (flea control, preventative care, explaining medical concepts to clients, etc.)
• Familiarity with Evet and Idexx in-house lab equipment.
