Retail Stock Associate

How You Will Make a Difference

What you will do: As a Retail Stock Associate, you will be responsible for the receiving, processing, and replenishment of merchandise within the store as well as maintaining the organization of the stockroom. Through teamwork and productive relationships, you will ensure the store is replenished, recovered, and consumer ready by meeting brand standards.

How you will do it: By using strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills, you will work with a team to exceed store results and will adhere to policies, procedures and practices that align with company directives. These responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Process/perform incoming shipment functions. Check in, audit and sensor merchandise per policy. Ensure all shipment paperwork is completed correctly.

Prepare out-going store shipping functions.

Ensure all in-bound and out-bound merchandise is accurate, report any discrepancies to the stock supervisor and/or store manager.

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient stock area.

Develop a high level of product knowledge of all categories of merchandise and complete trainings as assigned.

Be proactive in Loss Prevention initiatives.

Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business; could require weekends, overnight/early morning, evenings, and holidays.

What success looks like: You successfully meet processing and business goals, while building strong team partnerships. You can adapt and pivot to change, take initiative, and follow direction. You work well as part of a team in an inclusive store environment.

Skills for Success

Years of Related Professional/Retail Experience: 0-1 year preferred but not required

Educational Position Requirements: A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

What we expect you already know: Good communication skills, being solution oriented and able to be flexible in a fast-paced environment.

What we will teach you: How meet and exceed Company objectives and store performance goals, and how to work as a part of a team. We will also teach you the ins and outs of the retail business.
