Job description
Primary objective of this role is ownership of the assigned value stream from beginning to end ensuring efficient and consistent results daily through:
- Management of the production team of up to 200 employees for the assigned value stream. Conduct regular communications to team members to provide purpose & teamwork, promote continuity of operations to improve engagement and morale.
- Driving overall Supply process excellence in producing the assigned value stream using daily metrics to guide decision making and measure your team’s performance.
- Develop and utilize real-time production performance systems to communicate line effectiveness throughout each shift as well as a tool for the team to review at the end of their shift.
- Contribute to the site cost performance by achieving annual labor and waste reduction objectives evaluating output, waste, productivity, downtime, safety, and quality by partnering with the Support Value Stream, Maintenance, and other departments to identify priority opportunities and implement root cause short-term and long-term actions to eliminate 1-off and recurring issues.
- Provide leadership and people management competencies in developing your team and processes for the assigned value stream.
