Position Summary: This position is responsible for entry level general labor in a food manufacturing facility while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Unload product into slicing machine
-
Inspect product visually for imperfections
-
Pack chilled, frozen or bagged product into boxes
-
Pick up trash and keep room clean.
-
Observes Tyson USDA safety and sanitation rules
-
Utilizes proper lifting techniques to avoid injury to themselves and others
-
Wears appropriate personal protective equipment, may be trained to operate a pallet jack
-
Other duties as required or assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Stand, walk, grab, bend, push, pull, and lift 25lb up to 60lb
-
Must be able to climb stairs
-
Must be able to do repetitive work 8 to 10 hours a day
-
Requires ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
-
Work in cold and damp environment and be certified to operate pallet jack
