PACKAGING SPECIALIST:
Monitor and improve the efficiency, output and safety during the manufacturing and reprocessing of raw materials by following the company's established standards and company policies and practices.
Description:
- Count and stack plastic containers as the containers come off the production line
- Tie container bundles and place on a pallet or cart
- Provide visual inspection of machinery
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
- Must take ownership of his or her job
- Work safely, attend monthly safety training classes, follow all company policies and procedures, and wear required PPE
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Able to read and write English
- Perform basic math skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience working as a laborer or packer in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Physically able to perform the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Able to bend or kneel frequently.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
