THE ROLE:
We are currently seeking a Truck Wash Specialist. This role is designed for those looking into starting a career in the transportation maintenance industry with goals of upward opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to provide great customer service for our drivers
- Ability to track and coordinate movement of inventory through multiple Microsoft Applications
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, kneel, lift, push, and pull with a full range of body movements
- Ability to use hands to handle, control or feel
- Ability to operate pressure washers and pressure wash chemicals
- Ability to work independently
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Experience working in fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to effectively read, write & understand verbal instructions in English
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Able to work all scheduled days and shifts as needed.
- A pre-employment physical and drug screening is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Maneuvering around, in, on, and under trucks/tight spaces to properly inspect and diagnose problems
- Standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, pushing, and pulling with a full range of body movements
- Using hands to handle, control or feel
- Climbing ladders, stairs and platforms
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
