Behavioral Health Policy Manager 1 – Treatment Services Supervisor
Woodburn – MACLAREN YOUTH CORRECTIONAL FACILITY
Are you an experienced leader managing and overseeing programs around treatment milieu or 24 hour treatment programs? Are you a licensed mental health professional? If so, Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) welcomes you to join MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility as the Treatment Services Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all behavioral health (mental health, substance use, and correctional treatment) services for the facility, including clinical supervision of Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs) and substance use treatment coordinators and staff. You will also serve as a primary member of the agency’s Treatment Services team, working collaboratively with other Treatment Services Supervisors, program analysts, and psychologists, under the direction of the agency Supervising Psychologist, to coordinate and support evidence-based behavioral health treatment services, programs and curricula; monitor and evaluate programming, participate in the development and implementation of behavioral health treatment/services, and participate in the review and approval of curricula for use with OYA youth.

What We Are Looking For:
  • Five years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience;
OR
  • two years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Special Requirement
  • Must possess at time of application a current Oregon clinical mental health license (e.g., licensure as a Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, LPC) in good standing AND current qualification under that Oregon licensing board’s requirements for provision of independent licensure supervision.
  • Driving is an essential function of this position. A valid driver license and an acceptable driving record are required for this position. We will conduct pre-employment driving records checks on our final candidate(s).
Required Skills:

  • Primary clinical experience working with children/adolescents/young adults.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of evidence-based behavioral health theory and practice, and substance use treatment.

  • Two (2) years or more of clinical supervisory experience.
  • Training and experience in providing Trauma-Informed Care and Collaborative Problem Solving.

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication experience that are effective in engaging diverse audiences and stakeholders.
  • Working experience developing policies and procedures.
  • Experience managing and overseeing programs around treatment milieu or 24 hour treatment programs
