Transportation Team Leader

Transportation Leader responsible for management of the Transportation Department for HUNT-EAS. This position can be located in any of the HUNT Offices.
The Team Leader will work closely to pursue new project opportunities, balance workload, provide oversight, and initiate team policies to increase design quality and efficiency. Management and support of staff will be a key role for this position to meet the growing workload for this group. This is a great opportunity for a candidate that exhibits a strong technical background, possesses leadership abilities, and is looking for a new career challenge.
This position will be required to manage employees in the following functions:

Design and detail plans on a variety of projects, including State/County highways, bridge rehabilitation/replacement, local roads, and other site/civil projects.

Engage projects at all stages of design and construction including feasibility, design decisions, drainage, permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
Skills and Experience:

10 years’ experience

PE required

Candidate shall have strong knowledge and experience in the following: local and state linear transportation, pavement design, drainage system evaluation, Microstation and/or AutoCAD Civil3D, intersection design and turning lane warrants, and maintenance and protection of traffic plans.

In addition, top candidates will have good technical writing skills, traffic analysis experience (SYNCHRO), SWPPP design experience, and knowledge in plan and specification preparation.
