The Opportunity
Our Zulily corporate headquarters is in Seattle, WA. You will report to the Manager of Inbound Transportation and is available for remote work in the following states: WA, OH, NV, PA, TX, NJ, VA, and FL.
Transportation is an important part to Zulily's success and you will be a contributor to that. This opportunity will oversee all inbound transportation operations for our business to business (B2B) program. You'll have the chance to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to help improve shipping cost and timeframe, build relationships and monitor carrier/broker performance, develop shipment volume and cost forecasts for internal and external partners, and partner with multiple teams across multiple geographic regions.

The Inbound Transportation team monitors carrier cost and performance, and driving process improvements in our transportation network. You will work with our carriers and brokers, Vendor Operations, Tech, Merchandising, and Customer Service teams while lowering transit time to our customers (Mom) and reducing transportation costs. This opportunity will allow you to grow your industry knowledge, technical expertise, and project management skills.
Your Impact
-
Oversee carrier/broker relationship and performance, evaluate carrier costs, produce forecasts and budgets for both internal and external partners.

Partner with multiple departments to improve inbound transportation performance

Work with freight brokers and drayage partners to coordinate ocean and air shipments.

Develop and track KPIs for projects using SQL, excel (can write advanced macros), and Tableau
What You Bring
-
3+ years' experience within Transportation or Supply Chain Operations
-
Program management, vendor/carrier management, and inbound shipping experience
