POSITION: Transportation Engineer III

Baxter & Woodman has a rewarding opportunity for a Transportation Engineer III in our Orlando, FL office. This position will primarily consist of providing engineering design services for transportation engineering studies and design efforts on a variety of transportation, traffic, pavement analysis, roadway drainage, and general civil engineering projects for State, County, and Local Agencies.

POSITION DUTIES:

• Manage/Complete engineering plans and specifications production using FDOT Standards.
• Complete Federal Aid Phase I and II projects for a variety of clients.
• Lead a variety of projects and study types including roadway, underground utility, drainage, traffic, and infrastructure improvements.
• Complete general civil engineering services for municipal, county and state clients.
• Assist with business development and client management opportunities for transportation and infrastructure projects is preferred but not required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
• 4+ years of experience in roadway and infrastructure design experience
• Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to attain within 6 months
• Ability to travel throughout Baxter & Woodman’s service area (own transportation)
• Strong written, verbal, computer and organizational skills
