Job Description

The responsibility of the Training Coordinator is to assist in the day-to-day operations of training and development. This involves the coordination of activities and logistics, with an emphasis on under five year financial representatives.

In addition, responsible to assist the Network Office in the contracting, licensing and registration of financial representatives, associate financial representatives and field staff for Northwestern Mutual. Directs and administers contracting, licensing and registration requirements and processes. Assists in the resolution of technical problems. Maintains strict confidences and holds all information confidential. Communicates sensitive matters to the Leadership team as necessary and/or the individual affected.

Responsibilities

· Create and or customize a pre-Sales School checklist and other tasks as assigned.

· Support candidates throughout the onboarding & training process.

· Attend and oversee training modules as needed and facilitate select modules.

· Coordinate assignment of homework and homework debriefs throughout training.

· Coordinate logistics for other training events as needed.

· Prepare weekly, bi-monthly, and monthly reports for Under five year advisors.

· Review Fact Finders for Accuracy

· Preparing documents for Managing Partner’s meetings with Financial Representatives

· Conduct training for non-resident and long term care licenses and Investment Services registration process with the Financial Representatives

· Coordinate the Financial Representative Reimbursement process with Home Office

· Assist the Director of Development and/or Chief Development Officer as needed.

· Ensure all kitchens are clean and coffee is ready each morning.

· Ensure training rooms are presentable at the end of each day.

· Fill in on front desk as needed

· Decorate office with themes during Celebrations and Holidays.

· Using Home Office systems, administer, input, track and follow-up on requirements and appropriate paperwork for contracting, licensing or registration of personnel. This includes new personnel, changes to existing personnel or termination of personnel.

· Assist new Associates with contracting and licensing set up such as applying for state license, registering for the 60-hour course and acting as the point of contact

· Assist with Investment Services registration process, to include coordinating Friday study sessions

· Act as liaison between the Network Office and Home Office throughout the entire contracting, licensing and registration processes.

· Conducting weekly Onboarding meetings with incoming Interns

· As appropriate, facilitate and track requirements of non-resident licensing requirements.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree preferred.

· One- to two-years of office experience required.

· Administrative support experience including scheduling, logistics, and computer skills.

· Experience in financial services industry or knowledge of insurance and investments preferred.

· Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and work effectively with people at all levels.

· Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with ability to develop and maintain rapport with professionals at all levels.

· Proven ability to independently set schedules and handle multiple priority assignments within strict deadlines.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Strong analytical and judgement skills with ability to interpret and work within guidelines.

· Ability to use high degree of diplomacy in handling difficult situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
