Description/Job Summary

The trainer oversees and ensures the successful implementation of Avatar training. The Trainer will be responsible for delivering myAvatar training related to general use of the system and all needed training related to Revenue Cycle and Billing processes. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities/Duties

Participate in Avatar workflow planning and preparation with the BTS-EHR team programs.
Coordinate Avatar system walk-through and form review meetings with the BTS-EHR team and programs.
Assist the program with capturing the mapping of role responsibility to avatar forms within a training workflow document.

Train myAvatar and related processes within Revenue Cycle and Billing to end users from programs, within service lines, and departments across my RHD.

Responsible for recording training attendance.
Assess delivery best practices and avatar training content adequacy and needs.
Implements ongoing improvements to avatar training plans, content, materials as needed.
Analyzes training outcomes and reviews for opportunities for improvement.
Update training delivery methods as needed.

Required Experience

Two years of related experience (e.g. training, health care billing, reimbursement, related processes)

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree in social work, education, human services, or related field

Required Qualifications

Experience with instructional design.
Experience delivering technical in-person and virtual trainings.
Knowledge of adult learning principles.
Experience with video conferencing platforms; zoom, WebEx, teams or and/or others.
Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
Communication: Written/verbal proficiency.
Computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability, when necessary, to travel on behalf of RHD.
Ability to work in an open space environment and to maintain both receptivity and concentration.

The City of Philadelphia has issued an Emergency Regulation Governing the Control and Prevention of COVID19 Mandating Vaccines for Healthcare Workers and In Higher Education, Healthcare, and Related Settings ("Vaccine Mandate Regulation"), which mandates vaccine for healthcare workers and in higher education, healthcare, and related settings.
