We are seeking a Nursing Assistant/Registered/TMA to support our residents in our Bloomington, MN Skilled Nursing Facility. This role is responsible for providing resident care and services including administration of medication under the direction of the nurse.
This position includes;
Martin Luther Care Center, part of the Martin Luther Senior Living Campus is located in East Bloomington, near woodlands/wetlands and along the Minnesota River Bluffs. Managed by Ebenezer, we offer 137 units between our Skilled Nursing, Memory Care and Transitional Care. We have an outstanding team of tenured staff. The only thing missing is YOU! Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and wages ranging from $24.19 - $30.00 / hour. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.

This position includes;
- 64 hours in 2 weeks
- Evening shift
- Every other weekend and typically a Holiday rotation

- Assists resident with personal cares based on individual plan of care (bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, nail care, dressing , showers and answers and responds to call lights)
- Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff in a clear, concise manner
- Performs environmental and other responsibilities as assigned
- Maintain order and cleanliness in residents rooms and other work areas
- Assists with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed
- Administers medications and treatments as delegated and supervised by a licensed nurse
- Follows all shift routines regarding measuring of vital signs, weights, and administration of medications and treatments
- Dispenses meds using the right route, medication, resident time, and dose
- Maintains an awareness of actual and potential side effects, adverse reactions, contraindications and purposes of medications
- Alerts nurse prior to administration of a PRN medication
- Maintains a clean medication cart
- Performs other duties as requested
Required:
- Nursing Assistant Course
- Active on MN Nursing Assistant registry
- Completion of required training and meet the state requirements for medication administration with a TMA Certificate from the State of MN
Preferred:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 0-1 years of experience
- Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric population
- Ability to communicate effectively with empathy and compassion for others
- Experience working in a patient support role (HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, Resident Assistant)
- Work experience in a customer service setting
