EQ3 is an innovative leader in furniture and accessory design with retail locations across Canada and the US and a rapidly growing e-commerce presence. We are seeking a Trade Representative to join our growing Retail team. This is a full-time position located in Chelsea at EQ3 New York City location. The Trade Representative will drive trade business for a market through outreach, partnership and with the ability to support designer projects through strong communication, organization and outstanding follow up.

THE SKILLS YOU'LL NEED:
Minimum of two (2) years of retail management experience

Project management skills

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

Confident in operations and systems; including POS system and Microsoft Office

Self-motivated, able to work well with little or no supervision with a strong positive attitude

Ability to communicate effectively in English (both oral and written)

Problem solving skills

Knowledge of building maintenance and issues

Growing and driving trade business

Outreach to new design firms

Regular communication to existing designers to keep them engaged with the brand

Communication to designers about events and promos

Attends local trade shows

Organizing local and store trade events

Suggesting additional items to increase order value

Tracking orders through completion
