Trystar’s team members are our most important asset, we are in search of a Welder for our cable line. This position plays a critical role in achieving our strategic objectives. Trystar’s Welder position is an important part of Trystar’s plan to become the world’s foremost custom solution provider.
The Welder proficiently welds in a safe manner necessary to manufacture quality cable products within a high-volume cable manufacturing environment.

In this role you will get to:
Must be able to understand the job orders and interact with Epicor.- Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) which are necessary to properly operate the equipment and manufacture the product.
- Must understand, complete, and maintain all required paperwork necessary in the operation including entering paperwork into Epicor. This also includes daily production reports, tally sheets, scrap reports, etc.
- Maintain and operate hand tools necessary to set-up, take apart, troubleshoot, and to operate equipment.
- Perform required quality control checks and inspections to assure the product being manufactured is meeting required specifications.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma
- 1 year of experience in primarily TIG welding and MIG welding
- 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend plant directives written in English
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical secondary education is preferred.
- Ability to weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
- Capable of interpreting blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts
- Experience assessing welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors.
- Perform simple mathematics to comprehend and interpret process sheets, SOP manuals, tally sheets, etc. and to keep accurate account of materials used during manufacturing process including scrap amounts.
- Ability to weld small and large components such as steel tubing, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Frequent lifting, standing, bending & reaching required
- Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
- Must adhere to all the PPE requirements to perform the job safely, this includes but is not limited to, Eye, Hand, Feet, and Hearing protection
