*Professional experience working with people with eating disorders is strongly preferred. Significant interest in working with people with eating disorders is a must.* We love therapists with experience working in ED treatment facilities, who are ready to transition to out-patient work in a private practice setting (part time or full time).

About ACED & Our Values
We are an out-patient, group private practice specializing eating disorders, body image, as well as OCD, trauma, ADHD etc., depending on individual clinician interests. We work virtually at home and in-person at our offices in West Lake Hills. We see individual clients mostly, and clinicians are free to form groups or offer family, couple, or partner support sessions if desired.

ACED is grounded in HAES (Health at Every Size) and anti-oppressive, liberatory frameworks in our work with clients, and well as in our professional collaboration with one another. We believe that eating disorders are a social justice issue. Awareness of or familiarity with Health at Every Size and Intuitive Eating is important for working with us. This can be taught, but please explore these approaches to ensure you align with our practice values.

Job Type: Hybrid model, full-time or part-time. Part-time caseload is 12-15 sessions per week, whereas full-time caseload is 20-25 sessions/week - negotiable. Flexible schedule.

Pay: $51.75 - $80 per session depending on your qualifications and sliding scale options. We are a fully private pay practice (no insurance).

ACED is particularly interested in:

  • clinicians with experience and education regarding the treatment of eating disorders from a HAES perspective
  • clinicians who work with tweens and teens,
  • clinicians who run groups,
  • clinicians who are interested in treating trauma and/or OCD/OCPD.
