Key Responsibilities:

• Highly cross functional team member working on testing of all PWC engines. Work scope will consist of pre-dressing, testing and post-dressing all engines.
• Required to support other Assembly functions in the overhaul process as required to include packing.
• Test Mechanics must ensure compliance with FAA regulations, established policies and procedures, ISO 9001, engine manuals and customer requirements.
• Utilize the ACE Tools on a daily basis to implement process improvements within the department and will use the departments key KPI’s to measure the team’s performance and progression.
• Work in a small group as a motivated team member and learn new tasks to develop a fully cross functional team.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must possess Powerplant License (or able to obtain in 90 days) or previously held the position.
• US Citizenship required due to government contracts
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years specialized training in maintenance, assembly or test of gas turbine engines or similar aircraft systems.
• Prior experience working on Turbofan engines.
• Knowledge of aircraft engine assembly procedures including fits and tolerances, use of precision measuring instruments and gauges, hand tools, special assembly equipment and the ability to work from complicated drawings and specifications.

Pratt & Whitney in Bridgeport, WV is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
