Temporary Manufacturing Data Entry Clerk

  • Shift: 6:30a.m. to 3:00p.m., Monday through Friday Duration: 3 months Compensation: $19.00/hr.

Carries out duties of Manufacturing Data Entry Clerk in cooperation with Group Leaders and Team Leaders. Receives guidance from Manufacturing Specialist as well as from Plant Manager and Manufacturing Coordinator. The Team member must follow all safety and work policy requirements while performing job duties. Each Team Member must be in compliance with quality and delivery expectations in order to maintain and/or reduce cost.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-include the following

  • Entry of production sheets for all departments in a timely manner
  • File and graph production numbers
  • Charts production, based on statistics compiled for reference by Production and Management Personnel
  • Enter, record, and file all In-Process N/C for HD, RL, ST, NF, and HT
  • Enter all maintenance work orders
  • Control the documents that are used by manufacturing and work closely with the Document Control Team Member at IAF
  • Monthly jobs also need to be completed in a timely manner
  • Ability to read and understand Kanban for the purpose of sorting for a non-conformance
  • P.O.S. log entry, daily tracking of progress, and daily report tracking of scrap in all departments
  • In addition to the above stated tasks and responsibilities, this position is also responsible to carry out special requests that are asked of you by the Specialist, Plant Manager, or Manufacturing Coordinator
  • Track inventory for wire and washers
  • Manages orders and back orders

  • EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: One-year certificate from college or technical school, three to five years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts, basic mathematical skills is a must in order to work in this position. Ability to use 10 key calculator.
  • REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is frequently required to sit; to use their hands to finger, handle, or feel; and to talk or hear.
