Job Title: Technical Writer/Editor

Job Description:

Syneren is currently seeking a Technical Writer/Editor that is a self-starter, works independently, customer focused, experienced with capturing, documenting and tracking customer requirements across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Translate customer needs into well-defined requirements
• The candidate will assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet client deliverables.
• Publish and maintain templates for written documentation produced by others (technical specifications, change control templates, confluence product pages, etc..) to maintain a consistent look and feel.
• Present various documentation to stakeholders pertaining to operational readiness and other business areas as needed.
• Create and process change control documentation, working under tight timelines to ensure overall project success.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communications and experience working with content in multiple mediums
• Experience working cross-departmentally to communicate requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in journalism, English, philosophy or psychology are desired
• A positive attitude, willing to jump in and tackle new challenges
• Strong experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process
• Experience in creating documentation for audiences with different levels of technical skill
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills
• Experience dealing with technical products is preferred
