We are looking for a goal-oriented and internally driven Technical Support Manager to assist in building out our dedicated technical support hotline and assistance team. The Technical Support Manager will be a mechanically-inclined, strategic thinker with fantastic organizational and time management skills. The Technical Support Manager will have excellent communication, coaching and leadership skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. To ensure success, our Technical Support Manager will understand the business operation and will have invested a significant part of their career understanding the technical experience needed to work on residential home systems, including but not limited to, air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, air handlers, water heaters and generators.. Top candidates will be highly technical and motivated self-starters, innovative, strong decision-makers and outstanding facilitators of learning and change. This will be a highly visible role within the organization and will report into the Chief Strategy Officer.

Location: Southern HVAC Corporation Headquarters in Maitland, FL

Key Responsibilities:

· Field technical questions from remote technicians in a timely manner.

· Build out and hire team of knowledgeable experienced technicians to assist with call volume.

· Assist in the development of internal queueing system for technical requests.

· Build daily, weekly and monthly technical support and issue resolution goals.

· Evaluate and develop set of KPIs to determine performance.

· Assess employees’ skills, performance and productivity to identify areas of improvement.

· Refine approach to ensure best practices are being implemented.

Key Requirements:

· Ten years experience in the residential home services industry.

· Mastery of technical issues and internal mechanics of residential heating & air conditioning systems.

· Superb track record of building and developing processes or tools to improve overall work product or increase efficiency.

· Management experience of no less than one year.

· Critical thinker with innovative problem-solving skills.

· The ability to develop relationships, engage with and influence others.

· High integrity and operates with truth and transparency.

· Is a forward thinker, can respectfully challenge status quo and think beyond the moment.

· Excellent verbal, analytical and organizational skills.

· Excels at operating in a fast paced, community environment.

· Strong multi-tasking skills.

· High sense of urgency.
