As a Technical Content Specialist in the Product Development Services organization, you will have the opportunity to work with our Curriculum Support and Content QA teams to fix issues with content appearance, behavior, and functionality, for both new and previously released content. Additionally, you will use in-house tools to edit, assemble and publish new and updated courses. This will be a great opportunity to expand your knowledge of web-delivered learning content and how it is created in a fun and challenging atmosphere.
Position Type: This is a regular, full-time position.- Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $40,835.00 and $50,000.00 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
- Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote.
- Travel: You can also expect to travel once per year, so be sure you have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months.
Envision Your Experience

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Work with Curriculum Support and Curriculum QA teams to fix issues found with content appearance, behavior, and functionality.
- Maintain and use content assembly and production tools.
- Perform the more technical aspects of the content creation process.
- Work with Engineering group as needed to resolve content and platform related issues.
- Develop and maintain custom tools as needed for quality monitoring, testing, assembly and fixing of content.
- Manage version control of content.
Share Your Expertise .
Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:
- Strong understanding of Content Management systems and tools.
- Solid understanding of software development and source control methodologies.
- Solid understanding of version control software (GitHub, Subversion, Mercurial or similar).
- Basic understanding of HTML/HTML5.
- Basic understanding of CSS3.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript.
- Basic understanding of server-side programming.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- JIRA, Confluence and SharePoint experience a plus.
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, digital culture, or online educational content related field preferred.
