Tech Lead, Web Development

A Tech Lead will be responsible for the strategy and execution of full stack web development and web operations efforts across GCC. The ideal candidate will have experience leading digital initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a proven track record of demonstrating exceptional results through best practices and working in a high-performing team.

Responsibilities of role:

• Create and maintain quality code for the functionality of our customer-facing websites
• Demonstrate technical leadership with hands on accountability for the end-to-end delivery of web solutions, development, automated testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance/operations
• Create, review, and suggest improvements to requirements, solution designs and code reviews
• Help mentor, coach, and develop the Web development team responsible for Web, API infrastructure, and Cloud services.
• Provide ongoing support to internal customers and technical teams
• Participate in scrum ceremonies such as daily stand up, backlog grooming, and sprint planning
• Focus on learning, applying, and extending best-in-class industry practices to continue to raise the bar on skills development.

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of experience in development, DevOps, or IT roles
• Experience working with a CMS with .Net framework, MVC
• Experience in designing and creating code for a customer facing application (SaaS or public web)
• Ability to architect scalable, performant, secure, and reusable(code) solutions
• Experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring developers; providing constructive feedback to help others improve
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Advanced development experience designing and building web applications, using C#, WCF/REST, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript ES6, React, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, SQL
• Agile/Scrum experience
• Azure or other cloud platforms (Application Insights, VMs, Logic Apps)
• Strong in Object Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, Design Patterns
• Should display a high degree of adaptability to learn new technologies as needed and successfully manage the daily challenges of a technical environment
• Confident in best practices, to help the team increase the quality of the code.
• Proven success working in a fast-paced environment and within various sized organizations
• A strategic thinker that understands the capabilities of technology and how to leverage those capabilities to achieve business results
• Effective communication skills, emphasis on writing, for communication with development team and other departments
• Experience debugging code and resolving issues
• Working closely with peers to resolve challenges by providing technical solutions

Preferred experience:

• Experience with JQuery, Mongo.
• Sitecore development experience in a client-facing capacity
• Implemented or maintained digital marketing tools including Adobe Analytics/DTM, Google Analytics or similar
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps
• Octopus deploy and Azure pipelines. CI / CD
• Certifications: MVC, C#, Sitecore or any other CMS
