Team Member Relations Specialist

SUMMARY: This position will partner with the respective business teams to support the Team Member Relations team in the areas of investigations and case review activities for field investigations, primarily around critical Team Member Relations complaints. The Team Member Relations Specialist should be a highly customer centric individual with a bias towards change and the ability to assist in propelling team success. Acting with a high degree of integrity, the Team Member Relations Specialist will ensure that all assigned cases are acted upon in a timely and thorough manner to determine appropriate resolution or if further investigation is needed on any given case. The Team member Relations Specialist will promptly communicate investigation results and recommended corrective actions to the Team Member Relations Lead and collaborate with the Strategic HR Partner when appropriate. The Team Member Relations Specialist will interpret and apply company policies, practices, employment law, and other regulations to provide advice, guidance, or clarification for team member inquiries. Responsibilities include partnership and collaboration with compliance, Strategic HR Partners, Labor and Team Member Relations, and or legal to identify trends and develop action plan(s) for risk mitigation; conducting timely and thorough investigations and ensuring effective tracking and responses to claims; and maintaining accurate, confidential records regarding all reported cases and investigation materials in the case management system.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: BA BS degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. Experience: 2-4 years previous HR management experience in an HR business partner environment with experience in employee relations and/or conducting workplace investigations. Equal Employment Opportunity experience a plus.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Experience with Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio and Outlook. Experience with EA Case Management a plus.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

TRAVEL - Travel requirements will vary and could be as much as 50% based on geography and business need.
