Immaculate Heart of Mary School is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and experienced Middle School ELA teacher who exhibits a passion for working with young people. The successful applicant should demonstrate knowledge and communication of English and Language Arts and a desire to be part of our instructional team.
Job Responsibilities:
The teacher is responsible for
- planning and implementing standards-based lessons as prescribed by the Archdiocese of Baltimore
- Integrating the use of technology effectively into the curriculum
- communicating with parents, students, and colleagues in a professional and timely manner
- working collaboratively with team teachers to plan and implement lessons based on student needs
- Supporting and upholding the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- degree in Education or similar concentration
- background in English and Language Arts
- MSDE teacher certification or willingness to achieve
