Somerset Academy Early Learning Center provides quality early childhood education that supports students, families, our community and our staff. Our Vision is to ensure that every child in underserved communities has equal opportunity to early childhood education, emotional and social support, and a diversity of developmental growth activities. We serve children from infancy to 5 in preschool, 6-13 in after school and summer camp, and 14-24 as interns and youth trainees.

Minimally, we seek teachers with the following preschool skills:

· Passion for ECE and a Love for Children;

· Certified in ECE or a Willingness to Seek Certification;

· 3 Years Experience as Lead Teacher or Assistant Teacher;

· Creativity in a Pre-School Classroom;

· Ability to Engage Pre-School Parents;

· Thoroughly Knowledgeable of Preschool Regulations & Standards;

· Excellent Communication Skills;

· Command of English Language;

· Experienced in Writing Lesson Plans;

· Ability to Address the Needs and Behavior of all Children;

· Conduct Student Assessments and Observations;

· Ability to Work as a Team;

· Ability to Track Student's Record of Academic Success.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
