After School Teaching Assistant (Learn Coding & Robotics)
Job Overview

Penguin Coding is looking for in-person after school and weekend program assistants at its Park Slope or Cobble Hill, Brooklyn NY and Acton MA and Lexington MA locations. We offer after school program for kids ages 5-18 during the school year and summer. The program consists of coding and robotics.

Each assistant will be paired with a coding teacher, so you don't need to know any coding. In fact, if you want to learn coding or robotics, this is a great opportunity for you to learn this skill while being paid.

Hours are flexible on weekday afternoons (Mon-Fri) and all day on the weekends.

Qualifications

Successful candidates must enjoy working with kids ages 5-14. Prior experience in summer camps or after school programs are a big plus.

Assistants must follow all health and social distancing protocols and submit to daily health checks and inform us about your COVID immunization status. We require all our teachers and assistants to be fully immunized for COVID.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

All participants will be masked during the indoors portion of the program. Teachers and assistants must be fully immunized.
