This position will be based out of the corporate headquarters in Concord Township, Ohio (about 30-40 minutes east of Cleveland, OH).

Summary

Responsible for managing tax reporting and compliance within the organization. Including: planning, preparing, reviewing and filing of all federal, state, local, personal property, sales and use tax returns.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of federal and state tax income/franchise tax filings
• Preparation of ASC740 Federal and State Quarterly Tax Provision
• Responsible for maintaining corporate tax controls
• Review of personal property tax returns
• Review of sales and use tax controls
• Perform tax research projects for submission to management
• Asist with budget analysis and completion
• Ability to research international tax issues and manage projects with international consultants
• Must have the ability to work independently
• Must possess good organizational skills and be computer literate
• Advises management regarding effects of business activities on taxes, and on strategies for minimizing tax liability
• Ensures that organization complies with periodic tax payment, information reporting, and other taxing authority requirements.
• Must have the ability to supervise all outside tax service providers
• Prepare/review technical tax memorandum
• Manage, develop, and mentor staff on projects and assess performance through formal periodic reviews and informal feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. CPA Certification is not required but preferred.
• 8-10 years of tax experience

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
