Hidden Hills Vineyard and Winery is now accepting applications for the position of Tasting Room Assistant. We are seeking an enthusiastic, sales-oriented professional who loves to engage with customers, can be flexible and is interested in the wine business.

Tasting Room Assistants are key in creating a truly great experience at Hidden Hills Vineyard and Winery. Employees are expected to balance positive guest connections with the best service possible. Our employees have a passion for people, service and wine and are responsible for delivering gracious hospitality with a strong knowledge of Hidden Hills’ products and process. Employees must operate extremely efficiently, providing a self and team-based service, enthusiastic promotion of our wines, and a memorable guest experience.

Position responsibilities:

Facilitate daily tasting room operations, including but not limited to tastings, serving wine and snacks, guest services, point of sale operations, maintaining inventory, opening and closing, and daily upkeep and maintenance of the tasting room.

Hours would be 1-3 days a week, between Wednesday-Sunday with 4-8 hour shifts during the hours of 8:00am-10:00pm, with occasional holiday hours.

Qualifications & Skills:

At least 21 years of age
Maintain a valid State Driver’s License
Loves guest service
Hard-working
Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day
Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs
Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends, evenings and some holidays
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
Experience handling cash, credit cards and checks
Ability to use computers and Point of Sales systems

Experience in winery or bar service is a plus, but not required.
Knowledge of and passion for wine and beer is a plus, but not required.
BASSET Certified is a plus, but not required.
Food Handler's Certificate is a plus, but not required.
