Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Manager will oversee the recruiting and on-boarding function for the assigned region. This will include supporting a strategic talent acquisition plan and having hands on approach to completing the plan. This role will directly manage, train, coach, and mentor Talent Acquisition Associates within the region, alongside the RPO. This position will own the oversight of accuracy in the applicant tracking system and onboarding process of new hires. This position interacts with employees, applicants, and various functional leaders as a strategic business partner and collaborative team member to ensure that the talent acquisition department’s priorities are achieved with consistent excellence.

Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program.
2. Management and coaching of Talent Acquisition Associates within assigned region, while setting team performance goals, metrics, timelines, and formal tracking processes of team’s progress.
3. Develops and manages recruitment processes to attract, retain and build top talent pipeline with operations team and contracted RPO for region specifically for all operations roles.
4. Ensures assigned region is utilizing best practice for orientation, tours and hiring events.
5. Develops and manages the employees’ onboarding experiences through established, standardized, and audited processes. This includes but is not limited to background compliance, adverse action notifications, drug screening compliance, I-9 compliance, and completion of all onboarding paperwork with operations new hires. Ensures HR recordkeeping meets Department of Labor, OFCCP, EEOC, etc. requirements.
6. Provides hiring and onboarding support with creative solutions and strategies to fill positions timely, conducts weekly hiring calls with operations, streamlines communication from operations to RPO and talent acquisition team and acts as a liaison between company department heads to anticipate and plan for future recruitment needs.
7. Provides status updates, reporting, and other information as needed to peers, supervisors, hiring managers and RPO.
8. Ensures managers are following the correct process for adding positions. This includes the job descriptions are complete and the process for adding new roles has been completed and approved.
9. Assists with obtaining compensation approval, interviewing, and providing feedback on hires for non-sort roles for operations.
10. Travels as needed to assist with onboarding of newly hired talent acquisition associates and assist with hiring events.
11. Perform any other task or assignment as deemed necessary by the organization.
