SUMMARY

Supervise all table game activities within an assigned gaming area. Deal cards at the gaming table with precise counts and payouts. Create a welcoming and entertaining atmosphere for our guests while dealing cards with skill.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

• Directs and supervises the work of the card department. Provide input towards staffing, performance appraisals, corrective actions, and terminations.
• Provides prompt, courteous, and accurate dealing.
• Supervises the opening and closing procedures of the table game room.
• Maintains inspection of decks, ensuring the security of table games at all times.
• Oversees all action in table games room and report any irregular play to Management.
• Assists guests in playing and ensure adherence to established rules, policies, and procedures.
• Ensures adherence to safety policies and procedures and report any safety hazards to the Card Games Shift Manager.
• Performs other job-related duties as required.
  

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

Supervise/manage a department and provide input towards hiring/firing/performance decisions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 1-year experience dealing cards in a casino poker environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have previous experience with the game of Craps, Roulette, Blackjack, Mini Baccarat, and Carnival games.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Able to maintain close working relationships with co-workers and management.
• Able to lead and guide other employees.
• Able to provide and maintain a high standard of guest service at all times.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must successfully complete training in CNE Gaming Academy.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
  

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled environment with constant exposure to smoke and loud noise. Requires minimal physical exertion during the performance of majority of the duties. Most work is performed while standing or sitting with occasional need to walk, recline, lift, carry, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and handle. Must be able to lift and carry 10lbs.
