System Administrator

Location: 223 Courtland St. N.E., Atlanta GA 30303

Duration: 12+ Months

Client: State of Georgia -Department of Labour

• Under direct supervision provides management and technical support of workstation architecture to in-house and remote systems. Configure, deploy and support desktop applications and ensure all configurations comply with IT policies & security parameters
• MUST BE LOCAL TO METRO ATLANTA

Job Summary:

• Create / maintain / distribute workstation images
• Create / maintain / distribute virtual images
• Monitor and manage distribution points
• Manage workstation and server endpoints
• Tier II/III system administration requests
• Utilize change management processes (i.e. project testing, impact analysis, communication, back out strategies.)
• Participate and/or support other teams during implementation projects
• Support a variety of workstation hardware models (desktops, laptops, & tablets). Configure, install, and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide Tier II/III level support for field technicians as it relates to imaging, application installation and basic hardware /software troubleshooting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND One year of related experience
• OR Associate's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Three years of related experience OR Five years of related experience
• OR One year of experience at the lower-level Systems Administrator 1 or position equivalent.
• Experience as a Windows System Administrator supporting a large enterprise. 1000+ employees – Required (10 Years )
• Experience in managing 2000+ endpoints in SCCM – Required ( 3 Years)
• Experience in Active Directory creating and editing policies & managing user objects. – Required ( 3 Years)
• Experience troubleshooting workstation software/hardware – Required ( 2 Years)
• Experience supporting Windows 10 or above desktop Operating Systems – Required ( 2 Years)
• Experience supporting laptop encryption technology such as Bitlocker - Highly desired ( 2 Years)
• MCSE Certification - Highly desired
• Experience with LAPS and or PolicyPak – Desired (2 Years )

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
