The County of Riverside’s Department of Child Support Services has an opportunity for a Child Support Services Supervisor position located in Riverside. Child Support Services is responsible for the work related to the establishment and enforcement of paternity, child support, and medical support orders.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day operations as a supervisor over, Senior Child Support Specialists, Child Support Specialists, and Child Support Interviewers, and may participate in the employee selection process, training, coaching, mentoring, and evaluating staff performance. The Child Support Services Supervisor will also implement new methods, procedures, and organizational changes within the Department of Child Support Services. Additionally, the incumbent will prepare statistical and other reports and perform other related duties as required.
The most competitive candidate will possess and demonstrate excellent customer service skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and great leadership or supervisory abilities. The department seeks candidates that have knowledge of Child Support policies and procedures and experience with Microsoft Excel and SharePoint.
